Howdy Dooty everyone! So first, there has been an overwhelming response to While I was Away. In fact, a shockingly overwhelming response to the video. It’s spurred tons of comments and interest, and is very quickly gone viral! So whether you love it or you hate it (or hate me, as some of the comments seem to indicate), here’s a big thanks to everyone who’s watched it and laughed!

Second however, there was a mix up with some of the comments here on the blog. Namely, a handful of them got rejected by accident this morning, instead of accepted! That’s what I get for trying to moderate comments without being fully awake yet… I wish there was a confirmation window to stop you after you clicked reject… Anyway, if you made a comment in the past little bit but you don’t see it up here, I apologize for accidentally rejecting it as I do love reading your comments, good and bad. If you feel up to the task you can resubmit your comment and I’ll accept it this time around :)
Stories
Third, it’s time to get back to releasing stories! That means Part 7 of Sneaky, Naughty Sex. Woo! Long awaited and much enjoyed (I hope), hehe. And if you’re new, don’t forget to check out the full stories already posted here (especially if you hate being left on a cliff-hanger with Sneaky, Naughty Sex). My personal favorite is: Sloppy Girl. But The Blond Goddess, The Best Friend, The Masturbation Gambit, and The Rival are all amazing too.

And lastly, with the new attention this site has got from the video, I’ve got a lot of questions about the stories, so let me just give everyone new a quick overview. I usually release 2 parts of a story per week: one around Thurs and one around Sun or Mon. This week I’m obviously bucking the trend, but in future that’s more or less the release schedule.

Hilarious video! I actually got fired from a job because of a similar experience! I went on a ski trip, told my boss about it beforehand, watched him put it on his calender, had a 2 hour conversation about skiing THE DAY BEFORE I LEFT.
I was gone for a week, he called my home phone (not my cell, despite having the number), emailed me (hello? NEVER check work email on vaca), but never asked any co-workers where I was (at least 2 of them knew).

Hey that's great that you're sharing what you want to, but most people want to know if she actually slept with that dude or if it was bullshit. Given the e-mail looked like she was sauced when she wrote it, makes it seem more likely to be real.
I don't see how giving a "yes" or "no" to that invades anyone's privacy. And if you think that changing the names and info will keep it from getting back to her and all her friends, you got another thing coming. Don't get me wrong, you did a good thing by at least trying, but when something catches on people invariably find out.

You can portray people who want more details as sad, though I think that takes the easy way out. People want to know specifics because it colors the story. For instance, if Em is insanely hot, then a lot of guys would put up with that crazy, or even expect it to come with the territory. If she's average, that makes her antics more unexpected, or perhaps, less justified. It's the same way a very wealthy guy can get away with a lot more than the same guy would if he was a regular schmo.
As for whether she cheated, it says a lot about her character whether she would simply make something like that up to hurt him, or whether she would actually do something like that. It gives a lot of insight into her actions and personality, and changes the perception of the story.
When a story is vague like this, people can take the part that was presented to them and see 3-4 different "slants" one could take on it. The requests for less ambiguity is so they can figure out what really happened.
I think her pic is going too far on the "privacy / reader" scale, but clarifying the one detail of whether she threatened to do some other guy, or actually did so, helps the reader put the rest of it into better context.

1. Both of you get Facebook. Before you go on a trip, make your status update read: "I will be in Europe for 2 weeks. I won't return anyone's calls or emails while I'm there, so don't fret, it's nothing against you."
2. Change your voicemail to indicate your trip: "Hi. (Name) is in Europe for two weeks, from June 1st through the 14th. I will keep my phone off throughout this time, so I'm sorry that I won't return your calls until I come back."

completely agree with Rakthar,
would help out a lot if you let us know if she actually cheated on you. There's a big difference between just bitching and doing stupid things to get back at someone while bitching. because I could once forget, or forgive whatever she said, but I would not be able to do so if she has actually done something that bad.
but then again I wouldn't really know if she cheated or not, unless I go around asking, lol, which I doubt I would do.

I agree about the internet cafe. Although, I was in one in France and had a hard time figuring out the keyboard layout.
Here's an observation…this chick was SO freaked out and SO distraught about you being incommunicado that she called a grand total of 0 of your friends to find out where you were. On top of that, she really REALLY wanted to know where you were, yet didn't stop by your mom's house until she was 5 or 6 days beyond her breaking point.

I hate to admit this, but I was the "nutcase" to my wife's "traveller".
She once told me about an upcoming business trip…three months in advance. She mentioned it in passing a couple more times. It went in my left ear, accelerated to warp speed, and exited my right ear without registering.
The night before she was to leave, she asked me,"Drive me to the airport tomorrow?"
"Whaaaaat? You didn't tell me about any trip! You gotta TELL me about this shit BEFORE!"
"Umm, I did. Remember? San Diego? Business trip? Be gone three days?"
"Ohhhh, uh, yeah…uh, sorry."

It is hilarious. It shows how neurotic woman can get. Unfortunately it makes the rest of us woman who are not like that look bad. Hope Europe was a blast and you find someone less clingy.
